Fingers crossed we don't get to that point, especially before I take my trip to the beach next month.

Those articles have been written since March. The Pascagoula Chevron refinery is at max capacity with the influx of Venezuelan oil coming in. US and Venezuelan production is only increasing. You can't listen to the guys that get huge bonuses when oil prices shoot through the roof. They WANT that to happen. Also, a lot more oil is moving through the Strait of Hormuz than these websites that "monitor" ship traffic, because the ships turn off their transponders. There is a reason oil is trading around $90/bbl now.

Mostly from the traders, not O&G execs. They sounded the alarm about a week ago. So unless the SOH opens back up to pre-war, excursion, levels very shortly we can expect huge jumps by mid-July.

Tom. They were lying to you. They all knew we were escorting tankers through the Strait. They make more money when oil prices are higher. There is NO supply shortage of oil in The US. We have oil now than ever in the history of the country. Surely, you have more sense than you project? And BJ, regarding our bet. The "war" started 105 days and the Strait has been closed since then. The average price/gallon on that day was $2.98. So if you want to start the clock today we have 210 days to get back to that level. Unless, of course you don't think the Strait is open yet. That would mean gas has to get to that level by January 9, 2027. The B&Gs club may put your name on a building.

Say what? Your own link says the National Average as of today is $4.086.

That means almost $4.09, NOT $4.86. 03-lmfao

This would keep a normal person out of a thread for awhile. That’s a pretty bad own goal.

The prices in red states tend to be lower in red states due to less taxes and regulation. For example, LA’s per gallon cost is a whopping $5.76!

And the line under that says the average price dropped 46 cents per gallon from last month.

This is what the left does when they are so desperate for some kind of a win.

And GitnMaHole must live in his parents basement, because if he ever got around and drove, he would know gas prices have dropped significantly.

Dem's want higher gas prices. They should be praising Trump when they rise and condemning him when they fall.
