That doesn't fit the narrative...... so stop it.

There is also no cheating in elections... er I mean there isn't enough to change the results.

At least there is a logical reason for high gas prices now.

The only reason they were high during the gramps administration was democrats saying F YOU AMERICA !!

No. The deal was for two years. It lasted from May 2020 through April of 2022. Yes, the initial production cut was higher, but the production cuts lasted for two years.

No, it doesn't fit the facts.

Quote:On April 15, members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and 10 non-OPEC partner countries, collectively known as OPEC+, agreed to reduce crude oil production in response to rapidly increasing global oil inventories in the first quarter of 2020. At the time, efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus resulted in a steep decline in demand for petroleum liquids and lower crude oil prices. Starting in May 2020, the OPEC+ agreement called for a decrease in crude oil output by an initial 9.7 million barrels per day (b/d) that gradually tapers through April 2022, the end of the current agreement period.

03-yes

And as I've noted, the oil held up in the strait would have just been getting to the refineries within the last week had it been moving all along...so the supply shortage has not even really been felt yet.

Also, the Houthi's are now getting involved and may close the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.

Nah, that's the deal you make when you idiotically claim the pandemic will be over by Easter.

And it had no effect on oil produced in Canada, the U S and Mexico which is where our oil comes from. So, again why was gas at $4.96/gal in June 2022? We have proven it WASN'T from some deal Trump made in 2020 that reduced OPEC oil production by 6 million bbl/day which we don't even know happened anyway once Trump left office in January 2021.

RE: AAA - Gas Hits $4
The Dems affected with TDS celebrating increased prices hurting the pocketbooks of Americans reminds me of their orgasmic response to increased egg prices.

The present war will eventually end (likely within a month) and prices will fall back. There is a good possibility, I think, that they could go lower than before the war now that the Iranian threat has been significantly degraded.

Dems, criticize now, but be prepared to praise Trump should gas prices fall or be tarred with yet another layer of hypocrisy.

You must drive more miles in a week and I drive in six months. I can sometimes go six weeks between fill-ups. But I work from home and don't have to drive much. I'm lucky.

For those that don’t remember—Dems were fine with high gas prices because they believed it would push people toward electric cars.
