Stranger Things started off brilliant, but gradually faded to “great”, “very good”, and finally “decent”. By the end was just another show, imho.

I think the writers had a very clear idea of what the first two seasons were all about, and after that there was a lot of scrambling for new ideas. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t.

The anchor of the news story replied to this post. She states the story is 7/8 years old, and Kansas eventually dropped the course.

The challenge with social media posts is that old stories keep cycling as new.
