You may want to look into some of LBJ's quotes on the subject. You'll find he was not looking out for the best interest of black folk. Obama could have done wonders to address racial issues but instead chose division.

I disagree here, I had huge issues with Obama, The were political not racial. You could put a Condoleezza Rice, or Ben Carson as president, and just like Bush 1 and 2 I would agree with them 75% of the time and would be supportive of them.
I agree Race was an issue with some but far less than implied. Prez Lyndon Johnson was a racist.
