When are you going to stop whining about how he talks to people? I don't give a rats ass if he calls a meeting with the pope and tells him to kiss his ass in front of the Sisters of Mercy. I didn't vote for him because he's a gifted orator or because he's tactful in his speech.
I disagree. How the president talks to people is perhaps the most important part of his job.
As I know you are aware, TB4E, the “Donald Vanity Trading Cards” were not real. He is not the person going in to capture Maduro and his wife; that was a bunch of unnamed heroes in Delta Force. He is not the person actually securing the border; that is a bunch of hardworking border patrol agents. He is not the person providing security to a bunch of our scummiest blue cities; that is our young National Guardsmen putting their lives on the line for others.
When it comes to foreign policy, I do try to keep my comments to a minimum. Because I don’t know if there might actually be a disguised diplomatic benefit to our president trash talking an ally. It is possible, although unlikely, that he is advancing our interests in spouting off with what otherwise appear to be very stupid comments.
But you guys don’t know that either. And there is nothing whatsoever wrong with WSME, or anyone else, having concerns that Donald Trump is yet again making things much worse (and much more dangerous) for those tasked with carrying out his policies.
And, in response to someone else’s post, yes I DO think that Donald Trump is vain and stupid enough to do exactly that. Whether that is what is going on with his recent Greenland comments, I just don’t know.
As much as I like you, you're all over the place when it comes to Trump. He's a big meanie one week, and then the next he's doing great. Do you honestly think anyone he speaks to is going to make serious decisions based on some off-the-cuff remarks he made?
You need to pick a side. It really is that simple. Stop the fence-sitting so that you can fall off one way or the other, of your own choosing. You don't have to love the man, you don't even have to like him, but you do have to support him. At least if you're as much of a patriot as you present, then you do.
I'll take the ugly woman who knows how to please a man and isn't shy over the young blushing virgin who has no experience at handling coarseness.
You see vulgarity, brashness, and typical New York and cry because he speaks crassly. I see results and say I don't give a crap about how he talks, particularly to our enemies and even more particularly to our so-called friends who will stab us in the back the minute the opportunity arises for them to do so without repercussions.
What's the point of civil discourse with an enemy beyond a certain point? Are you going to be civil to the guy after he pushes past you into your home to rob you?
The things you guys find to whine about when the whole damn world is falling apart and one of the few people trying to do anything about it is our own POTUS is a curiosity.
I assume you guys who are whining about him would have been fine with another democrat. No? Then stfu about Trump being a big old meanie and get fully behind his agenda. It's one thing to say I don't like that he said such and such; it's quite another to have a thread this long go on for as long as it has over what amounts to nothing.
I told y'all that this "issue" would be but an afterthought by the next news cycle, and some of you have done everything you can to extend it beyond its shelf life. IOW, it's becoming stale. No one is talking about it anymore except us.
And don't mistake any of that for blind loyalty. When he DOES something with which I disagree, I express it. And that's fine. It's constant nitpicking at words that rustle my jimmies. Do I wish he were better spoken? Yeah. Is it an issue worthy of a 4-5-page-long debate? Not even close.
