So far gone as to be a mere remembrance of a better time. There's little to nothing left of the culture in which I grew up. All my values, my entire value system, have been shattered. I don't know what to believe anymore. I don't know who to trust anymore.
And that is exactly what the now joined forces of marxism and islam want: for us to be divided, confused, and distrustful of everything and everyone. My next-door neighbor of 20 years is a fine person, a retired Master Chief, a black man. I've yet to ever have an issue with him, any of his respectful sons, or his wife. We have always been cordial, waving to each other as we mowed our lawns or whatever. I've noticed he no longer waves; he barely looks my way, and when I yell a greeting across the yard at him, he ignores me. He was never like that before this last election.
Coincidentally, a younger Black man and his young family moved in next door to him about the same time as the election was ramping up, and ever since, it's like I've become the bad guy. That young man ignores me every time I look his way and wave. I've even said hello before when he got within earshot while doing yard work. He lifted his head and looked at me and went back to what he was doing.

RE: [News] Rob Reiner
While I came as close to hating him as was possible, I could never really hate him. I hated his views and his politics, for sure, but not him personally. I have no interest in the quality of his movies or the iconic TV series he featured in. His political leanings are toxic, hateful, vindictive, and now violent. And he died in the same way he embraced his rhetoric: violently.
That's a shame for the rest of his family, and I truly hope he rests in peace and the family finds comfort as they sort through this tragedy.

The break down of civility in private affairs is mainly a tragic consequence of Dem doctrine enforcing an adherence to a political view superseding family, friends, and associates relationships. For example, "a Pew Research Center survey of single Democrats looking for a relationship revealed that 71% said they probably or definitely would not consider dating someone who voted for Trump" https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/...ump-voter/

The left will be combing social media to go after people for saying bad things about Reiner today.
Best to just keep opinions about him to yourself.

I loved him as meathead and he directed some great movies. I hated his politics.
I will say this… he was horrified by Charlie’s assassination. At least he wasn’t one of the liberals gloating.

Maybe, but it doesn’t change the fact that the delusional progressive left is creating an environment where the mentally ill are being normalized yet do not understand the consequences of their actions.
There is nothing rational or sane in this new world of acceptance they are so desperately trying to create
Reiner was just a brainwashed product of this propaganda
Btw, toss out self preservation when you adhere to these fabrications of how the real world actually operates

Your neighbors hate you because you're white.
If I were you, I'd quit trying to talk to them.
They've made their feelings known about you.
F*** them.

Made some great films for sure. Like most Hollywood types I ignored his politics.
Just a sad situation, I couldnt imagine having such troubled son that they would stab you then cut your throat.
Curious what motive comes out. Guessing drug related rage session.

I have neighbors like that. I used to wave to them but they would ignore me so I just stopped being friendly with them. I don't even look their way. Life is too short to worry about someone not liking you...for whatever reason. I know the White woman is a dark blue democrat and maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm not really sure as, like I said, we aren't friendly.
The other nut job is a retired postal worker and he always looks sad, poor guy. I doubt that he even has friends. I think his family situation is such that he feels he failed as a father because both of his sons are gay and even though I hardly see his daughter I also believe that she adopted that lifestyle. No grandchildren in his future it seems and here I am a new great-granddaddy and another one to come in 6 months. I have no regrets as to how my life has turned out, thank God.

Isn't that ironic? He hated us for having guns and yet he dies from a knife. You can't make up stuff like that.

He was pretty hard left, but never saw him as a bad dude. I can't imagine he cared his kids were gay, Charlie was another situation, having a son who has Bi Polar with Schizophrenic tendency's I can feel for him. Nothing you do can change the illness. right now our son is in Mental health facility, but if and when he ever gets out we will have to be on high alert for the rest of our lives.

Rob Reiner, wife found by daughter stabbed to death in Brentwood home, son eyed as person of interest: report
Quote:Movie director Rob Reiner, as well as his wife, were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home in California, and authorities are looking into their son, Nick Reiner, as a person of interest in the killings, according to law enforcement.
Reiner, 78, the director of classics such as “The Princess Bride,” as well as his wife Michele, 68, were found dead on Sunday by their daughter. “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner,” their family said in a statement. “We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”
Their 32-year-old son, screenwriter Nick Reiner, has been identified as a person of interest in the case, law enforcement sources told the New York Post. A knife was used in the stabbing attack that killed the Reiners. The younger Reiner has previously spoken about his struggles with drug addiction as well as being homeless.
“I was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas. I spent nights on the street. I spent weeks on the street. It was not fun,” he said in a 2016 interview. Officers were on the scene over the weekend. LAPD Detective Chief Alan Hamilton said in a press conference that those in the neighborhood were not in any danger, but that a suspect has not been found.
LA Mayor Karen Bass said of the killings, "This is a devastating loss for our city and our country. Rob Reiner’s contributions reverberate throughout American culture and society, and he has improved countless lives through his creative work and advocacy fighting for social and economic justice."
"An acclaimed actor, director, producer, writer, and engaged political activist, he always used his gifts in service of others. Personally, I am heartbroken by the tragic loss of Rob and his wife Michele. I knew Rob and have tremendous respect for him," she added.
Reiner was known for directing a number of classic 90s movies such as "The Princess Bride," "When Harry Met Sally," and "A Few Good Men."

Why does directing movies make you better than anyone else? That's some Hollyweird thinking there.

That's a horrible thing for Trump to say. He needs to delete that, and issue an apology.
