With regard to your last point (clipped above), I don't have an instance that I am aware of in which he has lashed out at JD Vance. What I have instead is a long list that I could recite of him lashing out at other allies - - sometimes provoked (Elon and Kemp, for two examples) and sometimes not (DeSantis for this example). Will it happen to Vance? I hope not. But I wouldn't take an even-odds bet that it won't.

I felt like my comment was a fair one. I understand that the consensus thinks otherwise.

Trump is the leader of the Republican Party. Like it or not. He will use that position to influence the party. It’s really that simple AM. Nothing unusual about that.

Vance is even more America First than Trump.

Vance doesn’t have the need to be liked that his present boss has. JD will have them begging for Trump to come back.
