Quote:If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that's what I'm going to do.
That's a direct quote from JD vance.
They lie to you to increase your feelings of victimization.
My God. And this individual actually gets to vote.
Yes. Being the vice president and admitted propagandist doesn’t preclude you from being eligible to vote
RE: Jen Psaki: Vance is scarier than Trump. Offers to save Usha from her marriage
NO way am I reading all this.
This is just the first of a hundred attacks on Vance. They will keeping throwing mud at him until they find what their TDS sufferers will believe. Then they will concentrate their fire there after the midterms.
RE: Jen Psaki: Vance is scarier than Trump. Offers to save Usha from her marriage
Vance in 2028 rises or falls entirely on whether he gets the imperial orange blessing. The media has has been completely neutered in influencing conservative political decisions, and Vance has shown himself more than capable in swatting away the nonsense.
But if Donald Trump, in the lead up to 2028, has another of his mercurial moments and decides that Vance is getting too much national attention, I could see him spiking the ambitions of JD Vance just to show that he is still the Biggus Dickus of the MAGA movement.

Your TDS is starting to bloom again...Trump has done zero to have anybody think that...
RE: Jen Psaki: Vance is scarier than Trump. Offers to save Usha from her marriage
Quote:Victor Davis Hanson just fired back at Jen Psaki’s attacks on Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha.
What he exposed goes far beyond simple political jabs.
They’re TERRIFIED that the MAGA movement isn’t tied to just one man...it could continue long into the future.
“They thought when he was selected as vice president, he brought nothing to the ticket because Ohio was going to be won, he was a White male, there was no diversity, but they didn’t really appreciate that he’s one of the best explicators of the MAGA agenda.”
“He eviscerated the media every time he got on television. He was a real force multiplier of the Trump ticket.”
“And they’re afraid of him.”
“And now they’re thinking, you know, we were betting on MAGA is inseparable from Trump. He was the sun, and without him there will be no sunlight.”
“And then people like Rubio and JD Vance come along and they think, oh my God, this thing could go on and on and on with this new populist Republican Party.”
“And they’re terrified of it, and so they feel that maybe she’s too sophisticated for this Appalachian-born Vance or whatever, but they’re terrified that MAGA will go beyond Donald Trump.”
“I think they should be terrified, because I think it will.”

he has the same savvy (sans the experience) and is more eloquent than #groverII ... when he chose him, most of us went, "huh - who?" ... it didn't take long to figgle out why ... JDV is getting the best OJT evah!!!
they're going to try to take him out (just like DJT) ... watch it happen in '27, if not before...

AM, my party is going to have a primary in 2028. We're not like the Democrats. lol Don't worry. If JD wins the GOP nomination, it'll be legit.
RE: Jen Psaki: Vance is scarier than Trump. Offers to save Usha from her marriage
And we wonder why trolling happens. Perhaps it is an insecurity complex among those that cannot abide even the slightest questioning of the Orange Lord.
GC, I did not say that the Republicans would not have a primary in 2028. I said that if Donald Trump reverts to form, and for whatever reason withholds his endorsement of JD Vance, that Vance would not be the nominee. For the record, I think that JD Vance would make an excellent president. But I also think the Marco Rubio or Ron DeSantis or several others would be just as good, if not better. What I don’t much like is the unhealthy sense that the selection will not come down to primary results so much as it will to who gets the imperial blessing. For those who worship Donald Trump (and I know that is NOT you), that may be okay. For those of us who are not Trump worshippers, that should not be okay.
sk, telling other posters to “chill out” with a storm of “reeeee” and emoji replies is why you so often are not to be taken seriously. You are a smart guy. I’ve seen you make very insightful posts, particularly on the always complicated question of the Ukraine mess. If you constantly want to hide your smarts behind a clown mask, feel free. But it makes you about as easy to ignore as posts from Tom.
3A, you also are better than that. The reflexive resort to the TDS charge is pure laziness. I am flattered that you seem to care whether I personally like or dislike Donald Trump. But it has nothing to do with the point being made: that Donald Trump (i) has a history of interfering in elections involving other candidates and (ii) he has clearly demonstrated that his personal feelings take precedence over who is the best candidate. And I think it politically unhealthy that he may flex those same narcissistic muscles in the 2028 primary. He’s don “zero” to make anyone think that? C’mon. Be serious. His disgraceful behavior during the 2021 Ga. senatorial runoff elections is the most glaring example. But not the only one.
RE: Jen Psaki: Vance is scarier than Trump. Offers to save Usha from her marriage
I know, AM. I get what you're saying, and I appreciate your saying that so others know you weren't implying that. I just wanted to make a point, which was since the 2016 primaries, the Dems anointed every Presidential candidate they put up. (Twice last year, too. lol) And thanks for getting that I don't worship Trump. I worship Jesus Christ. (I backslide like we all do, but I certainly try to stay on the straight and narrow.) Regardless, whoever we end up selecting (most likely JD, but it could be Rubio or DeSantis as well or even someone who hasn't even been mentioned yet) will be a great choice by us to keep the America First movement going. I just wanted to help alleviate your concern, which I do believe is warranted.
We're good, man.

AM, I like to play 'crystal ball' as much as the next person, but I'm trying to figgle out why orange man 'bad' would turn against him as JDV is essentially a cloned MAGA on 'roids ... honestly, I would think you'd be happier than anyone with #groverII passing off 'that' baton unless you think it's Don Jr.s time in nepo-landia (which I don't see happening)...
I'll give you this, 2 years is a lonnnnnnnnngggggg time in politics (which is when they'll start posturing for '28) ... who knows what that magic 8-ball may bring...
right now, I'm enjoying the daily donktard implosion...

yep ... the more they spew donk, the happier I am ... Johnson and Thune are playing this perfectly ... even DJT backed off the bs of ad-hoc 'if there's a deal to be made' ... there's no deal to be made with this shutdown ... if they give an inch, it's all been for naught ... even hoodie understands that part of the equation...
toss in JDV always seems to have the perfect retort when the msm tards search for that 'gotcha' moment, and is getting more equal opportunity 'face time' than any veep I can remember, I'm simply not seeing the 'concern' ... again, 2 years is a lonnnnnnnnnng time...

I'll try to answer this, but I know in advance that I will not convince anyone.
The reason that I fear that Donald Trump, sometime after the 2026 midterms, will turn on JD Vance is exactly what you have just posted. Because Vance is, as you say, "a cloned MAGA on 'roids". Or, in other words, a better Trump than the original.
That will not sit well with the narcissistic personality. He, and only he, can be the center of attention. If JD Vance starts getting too much attention - - whether negative attention from the entrenched media or positive attention from the conservative base - - that will be viewed by Donald as a threat to his personal standing.
It won't take much to trigger it. A bad result in the midterms. A failed Supreme Court nomination. A bad economic report. Whatever the trigger, Trump will need a scapegoat. If that scapegoat turns out to be JD Vance, that will spike his chances to be the nominee in 2028.
As I said, that's life. And I can live with Ron DeSantis or Marco Rubio or perhaps someone else as the 2028 nominee. My point is only that I don't think it particularly healthy either that Donald Trump has this kind of sway or that he is so prone to taking things personally.
RE: Jen Psaki: Vance is scarier than Trump. Offers to save Usha from her marriage
As of the rest of your excellent post, stink. I agree. The donk implosion is very entertaining to watch.
I just hope it is enough. Looking ahead two weeks to the Virginia election, I fear that there are too many Mr. X clones up in the DC suburbs who will again swing the election, notwithstanding the jaw-dropping catastrophe that has befallen the Democratic ticket. Too many people just don't care, and have the intellect of the countless yard signs that they post in front of their houses.

to your summation, there's no question if JDV makes a misstep, he could turn on a dime - re: Musk ... however, JDV (and the rest of us) know such after seeing what happened when Musk went with a brain-fart selfish move by challenging DJT's vision that it's time to end subsidizing muh EV bs ... IMO, Musk got what he deserved in that 'battle'...
it's tough when the alphas get together ... however, I see JDV as your wet dream - the metered, yet forceful and well spoken vs. the goon who supposedly shoots from the hip ... IMO, JDV knows it's his to fuxxor ... he's too smart to do that...
just enjoy the meltdown from the left ... there's many a more battles to be had before '28 ... right now, I'm focused on revised voter rolls and redistricting going into the mids ... then on to my main pet peeve - muh mail-it-inns ... the pubs and Presler are all over it ...

"It comes from firsthand accounts from my constituents. I say that we're creating a story, meaning we're creating the American media's focusing on it... we created the actual focus that allowed the American media to talk about this story and the suffering caused by Kamala Harris's policies."
That one has no originality to him. He is incapable of thinking for himself, so he parrots whatever talking points his handlers feed him. Keep engaging him, and you'll figure it out on your own; he's too conditioned to reason with. He is as intellectually dishonest as his mentor, the Village Idiot.
