What sort of evidence would be persuasive to you?
Evidence of drugs.
Evidence of any direct threat to the US. These seem to usually be smaller boats with little chance to easily reach the US.
Evidence of "bad guys" on board.
Justification for killing without any due process. Or who we're actually at "war" with.
Things like that. And again, I don't have to necessarily see it personally, but Congress needs to be getting it.
Do you even read what anybody else posts, or read links?
The boats are not being driven directly to the US from Venezuela. They run from station to station in the Caribbean, through a number of connected outposts designed to eventually bring the drugs to the US, as well as other destinations.
In addition, Hegseth and others have said more than once that some of the closeup photos show obvious drugs, thus making those on board "bad guys."
And if you're on a boat that is obviously filled with drugs, and our military is 100% positive (again a thing Hegseth mentioned), then that's your due process. (BTW, nobody has "due process" rights at sea in international waters).
Finally, Hegseth has passed this info along to both the Senate and House majority leaders, as well as Trump.
I think that just answered all of your questions. Like I said earlier, what it boils down to is you have to take Hegseth, Johnson, Thune and Trump at their word.
I realize that is difficult for you, but they are not going to give details to the public, and I'm sure they would share details with Schumer and Jeffries, if they were interested. Whether that happened yet, IDK. My guess is Schumer and Jeffries aren't interested.
