Last two meetings were 1-point victories for each team. Series tied 2-2.

Normally I would agree with this statement but considering their record and TSU ranked 3 this was their season Super Bowl. If they could’ve pulled it off they would still be in the hunt for a playoff slot.

This loss most likely did them in.

I was cussing out Whitten for being an idiot. End of the first half he should not have run out the clock when we were down by 7 with a minute and change

I was nervous going into the game given our past matchups with SUU. At halftime I was getting very worried. I’ve been really impressed with Greek so far. I prefer him over VG to be honest. I think he is a better passer and he has better running abilities.

I know nothing about the rivalry between Tarleton and S Utah, and honestly don't give it a thought and have no interest in their history. However, I would think Tarleton fans, whose athletics/football program recently moved up to FCS would avoid these trite and over used phrases and words. If you have not had it used to describe a game vs your team, you are either lucky or deaf. "We're your Super Bowl" is a worn out cliche (along with "cup cake" team, " high school " team, and several more ) used to insult others. You hear announcers sometimes use them when a FBS team plays someone they deem unworthy.

As our Hall of Fame and National Championship winning Coach Kidd always said; "when you win act like you've been there before"!
