Agreed. You could also have some of the teachers go thru training and carry concealed. It's common sense that if a criminal knows a place is unprotected they will go after it instead of one where they will run into resistance.

There are plenty of teachers/coaches that are Guard members and/or retired military. They don't need any training. I had a couple of coaches back in the day that were active guard members.
