And- up to this point since ~covid theres been zero or close to zero ticket enforcement. Many people have been riding the train daily for years without paying for a single ride. Obviously a consequence of this has been homeless people have been riding the train for extended periods

I don’t expect anything to change. Roughly half of the murders in this country are done by black men. Yet it’s white racism, cops, and systemic oppression that the problem. Nobody is falling for this charade again.

"White people" didn't kill George Floyd. Fentanyl did. The cop in prison for 21 years just happen to be the poor bastard that was closest to where Floyd was when the call came out. You can kneel on someone's back all day and they won't die.

Good point. Be respectful and polite. Do not resist. And keep your hands steady.

And don't be like the members of the Sovereign Citizen movement. Those folks are asking for trouble most of the time they are stopped for an alleged traffic violation.

Certain groups of people have learned you can just walk on and off w/o a ticket and hasn't been consistent enforcement. These things just spread crime to more parts of the city.

It happens similarly here in ABQ because anyone can ride the bus for free.
