I'll miss having my fingers turn orange for a day when I grab Flammin Jot Cheetos or Doritos at gas stations on road trips.

Soft drinks are why diabetes is rampant in this country. Your comment is probably the copout of someone who is addicted to them.

Nope. I don't interact with Tom anymore. I'd rather talk to a brick wall than him.

Even if chips aren’t health food, removing artificial colors and dyes help to reduce risks of hyperactivity, mood swings, and behavioral issues like irritability or fidgetiness in some children which sometimes mimicks ADHD which has been linked to those dyes based on studies suggesting their impact on the brain.

I eat chips that has only 3 ingredients: Potatoes, Salt and Avocado oil. Those chips are high in calories and easy to overeat but pair well with meat and eggs although I don’t eat them all the time

As someone on the spectrum, I'm more inclined to believe that ADHD is genetic than a result of food poisoning. I'm all for our food and medicine being healthy though. I just don't blame my ADHD on food coloring.

before the 80s when they used cane sugar in them and the normal size was 8oz, it wasn't so bad. ****, can you even buy anything less than 12 oz nowadays?

No matter what artificial ingredients they remove from soft drinks they are still mostly sugar, and even if the corn syrup is replaced by real sugar (albeit that IS an improvement), that amount of even real sugar is terribly bad for you.

I won't argue that, also when I grew up, having a soda was a treat. I was only allowed one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Bwahahaha, now you're thinking like a Democrat. Get an 8 oz. cup, genius.

That reminds me of the time when my youngest son was living with my second wife and me. He was complaining to my wife that she made the tea too strong. We told him "add some water fool".

I haven't had a regular soft drink of any kind in so long if I had a full test one it would probably make me act like I did a couple rails of booger sugar. The Mexican cane sugar drinks used to make me grind my teeth. Was like an amphetamine.

I'll hit up a Diet Coke a couple days a month usually if I'm volunteering behind the bar at our AmVets Post.

Diet Coke will probably kill me another way. Cest la vie
