What the actual **** is wrong with these people?

Dismiss or sentence him now so that he can appeal all of the garbage that took place in a case with a bullsh!T legal theory.

State case but the state case was based entirely on federal statutes so bet your rear end he'll pardon himself come January 25th and let them try to fight that in court. They know this. Thus, seeking delay until he leaves office.

Tanqi Bois was a shining example.

This judge was so ready to give Trump jail time for this ridiculous use of the legal system for political retribution. He now throws a temper tantrum because he can’t.

This violates his constitutional rights by having his sentencing potentially hanging in limbo for 4 years so he can’t appeal the case one way or another 0r out right dismissed

I really think a major part of this is the Judge trying to find some way to protect himself and his daughter for the ‘uh-oh’ they probably committed together

I've never heard of it but it's far less of a novel legal theory than the bootstrapped indictments were.

New York judge grants Trump request to file motion to dismiss charges, cancels sentencing indefinitely

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/new-yor...definitely

Lawyers have until 12/2 to file and Bragg has until 12/9 to respond.

Quite so.

For one-half of the nation, I think these institutions (media, courts, 3-letter agencies) have squandered their credibility (as non-political actors who are merely concerned with “the facts” or “the truth”, etc.) for a generation or more.

Time will tell what the broader social reaction will be, but just for myself, I will never really believe anything they say again.

Same here. And I am a "law and order" type Republican. The type who had the most faith in the fairness of our systems.

You had rules to regulate these things, but they are ignoring the rules with no consequences. Trump gave them no consequences in his first term. We need serious consequences his 2nd term or it will all continue to happen. And not JUST people losing their jobs. They need to be sued and dragged into court for criminal charges for perjury or federal civil rights violations. They've certainly been quick to charge hard working policemen with those things.

If Merchan does not grant the motion to dismiss, Alvin Bragg and his office are willing to wait until January 20, 2029 to resume the case.

Too bad Tanq can’t dazzle us with his brilliant legalese mumbo jumble.

He’d set you clowns straight on how you USE THE LAW to trample folks under. Does the term Railroad someone ring a bell?

Then he’d explain with his self righteous bs how it’s the letter of the Law.

I told him over and over people see through this facade. But, when you can’t see the forest because of the forest fire you started you belligerently carry on. Never mind anyone who has eyes can see through your malicious intent.

This judge needs to be removed disbarred and his severance stripped. There are many academics that need to have the same fate.

It’s past time for we as a nation to start holding these complicit folks accountable.

Last time I checked it was still WE THE PEOPLE

it's why they hide behind the 'veil of bureaucracy' ... there's barely a handful worth a 'grain' ... and the 'caretaker' has their names in hand ... 03-wink
