Take the department of Homeland Security. Why was this needed? Don't we have a department of Defense? Don't we have agencies that have existed before the creation of DHS that were specifically created to handle domestic threats to the U.S.? WTF does the DOJ do if it's goal isn't to safeguard the U.S. domestically? Doesn't the DOD have the mission to protect the U.S. from external threats? I think the GAO's estimate is maybe 10% of reality.

US spends about 6.5 trillion a year. This here roughly is about 1 trillion and is worthy of being cut on Day 1. Plus Trump gave them 2years to cut government waste

Sheesh!!! You know this isn’t an actual federal department with all of the potential trappings and pitfalls? The point is to find and direct action on what needs to be cut within each department be it programs or staffing and do so publicly.

If it’s successful I doubt a dem running for office will champion eradicating it; they may slow down the slashing, but I highly doubt they end it completely
