If one follows that logic, then why doesn’t the SEC go after Texas Tech, Texas Christian, Texas-San Antonio and North Texas? 03-drunk

UNC and UVA might be candidates due to the fact that they represent new markets/territory. New eyeballs to watch games on their tv package so they get more $$$. 03-idea

By the same token, Clemson would solidify the South Carolina market by bringing in pretty much the rest of the eyeballs in the state. I’m not sure if that would be worth it or not. But that is JMHO.

No !---but the fact remains the same----however I was defending the logic as the state flagship as stated by Eagleonpar--- the schools you listed are not their states flagship are they ?
