And? They are commuter schools with zero history or following. Being in a metro area does not make a school relevant in college football. That's a flawed plan to build a conference. I fail to see the fascination with the schools we added. The biggest conference in college football does not have a single school in a top 20 market.

isn't that a decision to be made by the folks paying us (aka ESPN)?

...or not paying us very much in the future. And if that happens I think the AAC leadership (commissioner, school presidents & ADs) will be shown to have made the wrong decision in the adds made. IMO, it should have been those schools that are building winning programs & would have included a couple of SB schools instead of 2-3 that were invited, to truly eliminate the SB from a growing recognition.
