No question Boise State offers strong football and good TV value. But as you’ve pointed out many times, university presidents make these decisions.

University Presidents also want to draw students and money. You need to add schools that could bring school spirit to support your school. Adding Rice or Tulane do not bring the excitement and school spirit.

Actually those two probably bring excitement to one another considering they’re academic peers and they’ve played 36 times in football and 46 time in hoops.
