it was on the skinny podcast... he said for months he has been hearing uc has been reaching out to prominent HCs to feel their interest in the job, one was martin.. they noted how crazy it would have been to even interview him (had he not signed the extension days prior to brannens firing), you claim to be firing a coach for abuse, then interview a coach with worse abuse allegation and it reveals the true nature off this..

robertfoshizzle posted the link a few pages back, i dont feel like googling, we talked about it here, a few uc fans here noted he is friends with brannen that why he was saying that

Lol. Frank Martin was who Mike Bohn had lined up to hire when Mick left for UCLA. Our president, who had just got done dealing with the Pitino FBI UofL fallout, wanted nothing to do with another program mentioned in the case and outright blocked it.

I'm assuming his feelings didn't change on the matter. So I think that in this case, I find it EXTREMELY unlikely that Cunningham was now going to contact maybe one of the few guys in the country he knew he wouldn't be able to hire for the job.
