Notre Dame’s schedule added: North Carolina (A), Syracuse (H), Boston College (A) and Florida State (H).

We’ll see on Navy, but that’s the game ND wants to keep.

It is interesting that ND would rather keep an away game against Navy than a home game against Arkansas.

That's a significant weakening, in terms of marquee value, in ND's schedule, but oh well.

Given ND's long history with Navy, it does not surprise me that this game is prioritized over Arkansas.
Do you think a game vs Arkansas is stronger than a game vs Navy? Definitely not this year with the coaching change.

A game vs Arkansas is probably weaker in terms of team strength this year as Arkansas looks to suck again, though stronger in terms of brand value.

But my comment about weakening was about brand value, and about the change in schedule as a whole - losing their 5 original games and replacing them with the new ACC games - not focused on Navy in particular.
