Isn't the test normally just a nasal swab? Did he really get tested?

It's not a normal nasal swab. Apparently they have to jam the swab up into your cranium, and it takes a special kit. It has to be administered by medical personnel, not something you can do yourself. Probably uncomfortable.

So likely just trump being his normal drama queen self...lol
