It does not explain how Biden defeated the other ~27 Democrats who publicly declared their candidacy at some point in time over the past couple of years.

Because the order of operations was to:
- defeat Bernie: Party money felt that none of the other candidates save Biden could do it and not be accused of gross manipulation.
-defeat Trump: this plan is contingent on the amassed synergy of a female VP, an endorsement from Obama and a complicit MSM.
