Keep in mind that coronavirus is one of the causes of the common cold. We've been trying to find a cure for that forever, literally.
They can make a vaccine for the specific strain but only time will tell if this is something that will be adaptable once it mutates. It may be like the flu where there is a yearly vaccine or a 1 time vaccine against the 19 serotype may be all that is needed. We just don't know yet
