China can't afford to do any export bans. It is more dependent on "free trade" than any other country I can think of. I know the U.S. is in a massive debt hole; however, China is so heavily leveraged that it's economy would crater if it cannot export.

I suspect China already did it where needed---we just didnt notice. It would have just been attributed to factory shutdowns as far as we knew. Now that their emergency has largely passed, they would restart shipments and we would assume it took that long to get the factory back on line.

You're assuming they actually care about their people. China is dangerous. Its capitalism without any moral, religious or ethical base.

Im no fan of China, but if they built 2 hospitals during the crisis, I have no doubt they would divert medical supplies from export to their own use.
