Obama didnt deal with the swine flu for more than 6 months. By that time, 20,000 americans had been infected and thousands had died. He finally put together some sort of task force, but I'm not sure what good it did by then.

Then, his admin seriously mishandled Ebola. Ebola is not very contagious, and procedures for dealing with it have been well known for a long time. Yet Obamas admins put out bad info on how to dress to handle patients, and some of our healthcare providers ended up getting it.

Trump deserves a lot of credit for rapidly engaging on coronavirus.

There have been many outbreaks of Swine Flu. I had it in 1968. I can't recall ever having had the flu since, knock on wood. I'm sure the outbreaks were probably different variants of H1N1 which was the real killer in 1918. I don't care to experience any of it again.

I have to cynically think that a progressive like Obama probably was tardy in his efforts hoping it would clean some of us old folks out. I wouldn't put it past him. An Alinsky disciple is quite capable of anything, especially if Dorne and Ayers were teaching him.
