“At a nursing facility in Kirkland, Wash, approximately 27 of the 108 residents and 25 of the 180 staff have some symptoms."

I'll assume the person who died was a patient at this long term health care facility (although few details have been released on her/him other than the fact that he/she had underlying health issues). Perhaps speculating a bit too much, maybe one of the staff members had traveled abroad, brought the virus back home and exposed quite a few people at that facility to the virus? If it's a long term health care facility, the patients aren't going to be in great health to begin with.

This is not a good scenario if true.

Thats a low number. In Arkansas, its been higher. Which is why cities have had to shut down schools. (In Wynne, 40% of the staff have the flu.)

Having symptoms doesnt mean coronavirus. Its the flu. And this year its hideous because a strain or two wasnt included in any of the vax. My parents doctor told me that 60% of her patients who got a flu vax still got the flu this year.

So. The flu is worse than Bud Light virus in America? Who'd a thunk it?
