Neither is the "If its not the way Obama did it, then its wrong" attitude. This administration was VERY quick to slap quarantines and travel restrictions on certain countries that likely are the only reason we have as much time as we do to prepare. That was the right thing to do---even though many on the left attacked the move. What I am saying is thus far---its hard to be very critical of the Trump administration effort and results.

That said---We now know its very likely we are going to have to deal with a pandemic---so we are now in a new phase of the game. Trump has announced a special team--built just like Obama's---that connects CDC directly to the White House. Extra CDC funds have been requested. To me, the funny thing about the criticism from the left is that thus far---at least to me---the Trump administration effort against Coronavirus looks very much like Obama's reaction to the Ebola outbreak in 2015. So yeah---thus far everything done seems reasonable (including scaling back CDC spending because it was only bumped up due to an imminent threat from Ebola in 2015).
