You might want to consider some sort of shorthand to show that, like writing their conference names in lowercase. Those movements will be relevant to fans of bottom tier FBS conferences when realignment trickles down to them and they have look to the FCS ranks for replacements. All FCS conferences are not equal, in fact there's an even steeper hierarchy at that level than in FBS due to all the varying scholarship levels. The FCS teams that abandoned the non-AQ Great West for the Big Sky and MVFC definitely improved their positions, as will Stony Brook if they make the rumored move to the CAA.
