Perhaps the best defensive coach we've had since Withers. 03-lmfao Barlow and Trott were quite good as well, but I'd probably take Hetherman over the others.

Of course I didn't think Brandon Staley was a good DC for JMU, and 7 or 8 years later he's a NFL head coach. Go figure. 03-lmfao

Pretty much sure that Withers was behind the D that year and did not let Brandon run his stuff. Other than that one year his defenses were consistently great. Only year he was not good was with Withers which tells you everything you need to know.
