With respect to Amadi, he's bothered by length inside...that's nothing new. He played so well last year, especially at the end of the year, that perhaps it's asking too much for him to continue to ascend at this point. He's more of PF than a center (an undersized one to be sure), so he might excel with an impactful center alongside him, kind of like JMU is bringing in next year.

I watch a lot more NBA than I do college, so I'm probably a harsh critic.

We'll get a better gauge of this team tomorrow night and next week. Next week will provide an opportunity, I would think, of getting those freshmen some minutes. It would seem that Byington is trying to build a winning culture after so many losing seasons of late; hence, the lighter out of conference schedule relative to some other CAA teams.

That's a bit of a surprising comment, although perhaps true if you mean top 40 teams. I would say this schedule has less cupcakes than any we have had in a while. I think it's a great schedule actually for this team.
