I'm not going to spend all day looking up stats & you can get sidetracked on whether we were a few points behind Cincy or not but it is simply a deflection from facing the consequences of a weak OOC schedule - the practice costs us revenue & will more years than not it will cost us the invite to the NY6. Try to think critically. The point is OOC scheduling, the only scheduling our AD can control. We leave revenue on the table by playing low level G5s. And specifically, last season, because of their win over FSU even though FSU turned out to be very mediocre at best, Boise had the edge for the NY6 bowl until they lost in conference. Bottom line, based on the season type we had last year, as great as it was for us, had Boise gone undefeated in-conference, Boise would have received the NY6 invite - and that because of our weak OOC schedule & one loss in-conference. We should be scheduling to prevent that & also to increase revenue. Quoting total conference strength, whether we had more schools ranked than the MWC is not the issue, it's revenue & voter perceptions that count. And those voter perceptions were that Boise would get the NY6 until Boise lost in-conference. Boise was in that position due to their early season win over FSU - and that is why we should schedule up OOC.

Quote:I'm not going to spend a single second looking at stats. I will lie and make everything up.
FIFY

Quote:you can get sidetracked on whether we were a few points behind Cincy or not
Your exact point, not sidetracked. You said the AAC was behind Boise with the same number of losses, that was a lie. You said we were behind Cincinnati, that was a lie.

Quote:the practice costs us revenue & will more years than not it will cost us the invite to the NY6.
Just dumb on every level. We played 4 games against teams that ended up ranked last year. Boise played ZERO. Clemson played ZERO. We made the NY6 game last year. What would have happened IF we would have played at Ohio State last year like Cincinnati did? No NY6.

Boise hasn't played in the NY6 in 5 years and didn't play in it last year even though they only had 1 loss going into bowl season. They hadn't had a 1 loss season prior to that since 2011. Everything you say is the opposite of the truth.

Quote:The point is OOC scheduling, the only scheduling our AD can control.
Another dumb point. Our AD can force teams to play us?

Quote:And specifically, last season, because of their win over FSU even though FSU turned out to be very mediocre at best, Boise had the edge for the NY6 bowl until they lost in conference.

You are so thick and dishonest. You keep repeating lies constantly. It was explained to you that you were lying when you said this.

NO LOSSES
Preseason
17 UCF
33 Boise

Week 2
18 UCF
24 Boise

Week 3
17 UCF
22 Boise

Week 4
15 UCF
20 Boise

Week 5
16 Boise
22 UCF (UCF loses)

1 LOSS EACH
Week 9
16 SMU (0 losses)
18 Cincinnati
22 Boise

Week 10
15 SMU (0 losses)
17 Cincinnati
21 Boise
24 Memphis
25 San Diego State

Week 11
20 Cincinnati
21 Memphis
22 Boise
24 Navy
25 SMU

Week 12
17 Cincy
18 Memphis
21 Boise
23 Navy

Week 13
18 Memphis
19 Cincinnati
20 Boise
25 SMU

Week 14
18 Memphis
19 Cincinnati
20 Boise

Week 15
17 Memphis
19 Boise
20 Cincinnati
24 Navy

Week 16
17 Memphis
19 Boise
21 Cincinnati
23 Navy

Memphis, UCF, and Cincinnati ALL AHEAD of Boise with the same number of losses. Navy and SMU would have been also, but the conference cannibalized itself.

Quote:based on the season type we had last year, as great as it was for us, had Boise gone undefeated in-conference, Boise would have received the NY6 invite
Are you drunk? Boise DID go undefeated in conference last year. They were 8-0.

Quote:Quoting total conference strength, whether we had more schools ranked than the MWC is not the issue
It's not the issue? There is no difference between a #4 power ranking and a #7 power ranking? There is no difference between 4 schools ending the season ranked an 1 school ending the season ranked? The AAC was closer to #3 than the MWC was to #6. No difference?

Quote:it's revenue & voter perceptions that count. And those voter perceptions were that Boise would get the NY6 until Boise lost in-conference.
1. MWC Revenue Ranking. 1. Air Force, 2. San Diego State, 3. Colorado State, 4. Fresno State, 5. UNLV, 6. Boise
2. Voter perceptions, with equal losses Memphis, UCF, Cincinnati ahead of Boise
3. Boise was undefeated in conference play

Quote:Boise was in that position due to their early season win over FSU

AFTER Win Against FSU
Week 2
18 UCF
24 Boise

Week 3
17 UCF
22 Boise

Week 4
15 UCF
20 Boise

UCF beat Florida A&M in week 1.

You lied and made statements that were untrue 12 times. I am confident that that is the world record for a single message board post. You didn't say anything factual. Not a single thing.

Do you really think people are reading your bull****?

I haven't embarrassed you in a couple of days. Start a topic, I'm bored.

You have never embarrassed me. Maybe in your dreams but never in real life.

So then you're the type of person who wouldn't be embarrassed standing at the 50 yard line at the LB when it is packed, with your pants rolled down to your ankles.

Good for you.
