It's a certainty. Good for CUSA they will have the continuance of its programs in the conference. Let your rivalries continue to grow, its good news.

LOL. I'm pretty good at reading tea leaves.

I happen to think they are quite worried this won't work out. The American has to make it look like they are the victims here. "We did nothing wrong, and we want to ensure stability for all" is the take of a PR campaign which knows they need to get ahead and play the victim card.

So I happen to believe the American isn't going to get this waiver they so desperately desire.

There's no way to objectively determine exactly what Aresco's strategy is here. I see some things, you see different things.

Doesn't change the fact that if the AAC is forced to expand for a CCG, neither Marshall nor USM are on the shortlist. Who knows, maybe Aresco is genuine about not wanting to disrupt other conferences and simply plugs UMass in. I'd be in favor of it just to see the meltdown on this board haha

Why the unnecessary dig at Southern Miss and Marshall? I'm being very honest, I've been nothing but frank on the matter. I have no grand illusions of joining the American. We actually play football. You're not looking for football programs you're looking for markets.

If that were the case, why haven't we added UNT, Colorado State, San Jose State, NIU, Charlotte, or Georgia State?
