It's doubtful the Obama admin can survive
The Obamacare scam is just too much. Even the mainstream media is turning on him. The democrats will suffer another cataclysmic defeat in 2014. The Obama legacy is over.

It's not just the website. It's millions of Americans losing their coverage. It's premiums and deductibles soaring. Obama's blatant lies about the ACA are now out in the open. There is no way to spin it or downplay the damage. As I repeatedly predicted, those thinking the GOP would take the major blow from the shutdown are about to feast on a big plate of crow

There just isn't anyway to deny it at this point. Those on the left are in awe as they watch it all fall apart right in front of them. Those in the middle aren't ready to admit they were wrong.

RE: It's doubtful the Obama admin can survive
I wouldn't start playing taps just yet. There are plenty of media types who lean so far left and have so much invested in him that they're going to let him keep pissing on us and telling us it's raining for some time to come.

But I do think eventually the truth will prevail, and people will see Obama as a socialist/communist who damn near destroyed us. I just hope there's enough left to be worth saving when that realization hits.

What concerns me is that we will keep floundering from one extreme to the other because neither party seems capable of fielding a candidate who represents the majority of us. As long as we get candidates from the 20-25% fringe of either party, we're in trouble.

You know it is getting bad when even Obama stalwart CNN has awoken from their koolaid induced stupor and actually writes a piece highly critical of the Obama Administration:

I disagree. Look for a major event like a daycare massacre for the false flag to distract us from Obamacare and the other scandals.

I think the final nail has been driven. You cannot judge both parties when one party has been in control Washington for five years. You have repeatedly tried to pain both parties with one brush, while both parties are complete polar opposites - hence the filibuster - then the shutdown = all the blaming the GOP. Who's holding the stink bag now?

We have a nation where, at election time, 50% of the electorate know more about Miley and Kim's new baby than ANY ISSUE. They can be duped into just about anything - especially when their health insurance is subsidized.........and they WANT to believe the lies.

It's even beyond those idiots. Those people normally don't vote in midterms anyway.

Think about all the people who are being treated for things like cancer that no longer have coverage.

It's too big at this point. This is something people cannot ignore. They are going to feel it. Obama is toast.

No, they're not polar opposites and that's the damn problem. They both agree on big government, just disagree on what for. They both agree tat rights need to be taken away from citizens, just differ on which rights. They're both fine with tax and regulatory systems that drive investment offshore, because by keeping things draconian for those who don't have special privileges, they can enhance their own power and prestige as the gatekeepers for the special privileges.

I usually hope republicans win, as the lesser of two evils. But the lesser of two evils is still pretty evil. And republicans have proved quite adept at screwing things up. Not quite on the scale of Obamacare, which is threatening to be FUBAR beyond all FUBAR. But way too often.

I hope you're right. I think you're still a bit premature. Don't worry about underestimating the intelligence of the American people; there is no there there.

And if and when the pendulum swings back to republicans, I hope they don't screw the pooch as badly as Shrub did.

Yes, they are. What you are selling just doesn't add up. Republicans are not for nationalized, socialized medicine - and they don't have to lie to get it implemented.

It's time for you to accept your talking point is wrong. I'm sorry. But that is the reality.

Republicans are guilty of not fighting hard enough against their polar opposite.

This one is hitting home to millions of Americans. It's not something they can escape by watching MSNBC. When Nana can't afford her respirator, or Jimmy dies because he cannot afford his chemo - you can bet it's going to have a rippling effect.

Besides. College age kids who vote based on race and social issues don't normally show up for midterms. It's just not the hip fun thing to do. Even in they did, I doubt they would hold the same enthusiasm for Obama this time around.

I hope you are correct for the mid terms and may very well be right. We'll see. Hopefully the Republicans can stop putting up candidates like Todd Akin...............................

I agree. His legacy and reputation plus the need for a huge distraction are things he would probably start a war for.

All Zero needs is another diversion. Wag the dog. They will be cheerleading, swooning with shivers running up their legs at the drop of Zero's hat. It is Zero's white side that has failed America, don't you know.

Israel said today that Iran is within two weeks of having weapons grade enriched uranium...
Watch an issue that Obama has paid almost no mind to (even though to me it's a very serious issue) become a big hairy deal before the weekend.

This. No matter what happens, there is a core-group, a critical mass of people in the academic/media class, who simply cannot turn against him because they view him as a kind of avatar or proxy for themselves. It quite simply does not matter what he says or does, or doesn't say or doesn't do. They will use their position and influence to protect him as much as they can, and to attack/demonize anyone who criticizes him too loudly or too sharply.

I wouldn't count on that.

What type of "extreme"/"fringe" do you mean? If you are referring to ideological extremism or fringe-status, then I disagree. Mitt Romney, John McCain, George W. Bush, Bob Dole, George H.W. Bush -- None of them were ideologically to the Right of 75-80% of the American people as you implicitly suggest. George W Bush probably came closest to doing so, and of course he is the only one of the list to take the presidential oath of office twice. There's a lesson in that for those who think the GOP has "moved" "too far" "to the right", but I feel positive that lesson will go unlearned.
