RE: BG Game Thread
good to pull off another comeback, even if we lost the big lead that made it necessary. not, a masterpiece, but another tough win against a decent opponent. BG is a couple drops away from 7-1, really that is the difference in the teams. our wr play was a little better and our d was a lil better getting penetration and pressure

I like to remind myself (and anyone else who will listen) that BG's wins against same division teams have come against teams that are a combined 7-26. Their losses, not counting today, have come against teams with a combined .500 record. They have been beneficiaries of an easy MAC schedule and a fairly easy OOC schedule. Unless they beat Buffalo and OU I'm not prepared to say they were a very good team. With Fluellen, Rosenbauer and Voss this is a much larger UT victory margin IMO. Of course some guy on AZZ was just watching the replay and discovered that every bad call went against BG so maybe that caused their loss.

I agree. Give him the week off vs. EMU, because then UT has a week and a half until they play Buffalo on Tuesday 11/12.

Coach C has a twitter account. Contact him. I'm amazed how open with comments he is for a college coach.

UT is light years ahead of them in personnel minus the offensive coordination and wide receiver coaching staff but as far as player personnel, the Rockets are light years ahead of them. The game shouldn't have been close and is largely the reason the Rockets are 4-0 against them in the last 4.

We have rocket gear ready for her but it's in a little larger sizes for when she starts attending games and can fit in it a little longer!!
And yeah, she gets the looks from the wife. Heck, the baby has more hair than I do!
Made the day perfect with the rocket win over BG. Won't forget this one!
Er...OK, nix the "quarterback" projection. Lady Rocket shooting guard then.

True, but it was close. Starting out with 21 unanswered points, with success in the red zone, is very positive--especially on the road against our rival. But, then, giving up 25 unanswered points, with their RB slicing through our defense like a hot knife through warm butter, and their quarterback hitting wide open receivers--not positive.
Doesn't it seem like our QB's always have to hit a receiver that has at least one defender all over him like a bad suit, yet our opponent's QB's seem to hit receivers that have a 5-10 yard halo around them?
Credit where credit is due: TO and the offense put together a do or die final drive and pulled out the "W." That was real nice. That's what they should be doing.

Don't feel bad. I did a quick pronoun edit. The hat is blue- blue is boy, yes?

How did Rosenkranz get hurt? Saw him miss a reasonably tough catch, but did not know he went out hurt.

I don't believe Rosenbauer played at all. He, Voss and FLuellen being out really depleted the Rockets on both sides of the ball. I think we score two or three more times with Flu and Rosenbauer.

Rockets moved the FB pretty well against Mizzou and should have beaten Ball State.

Rosenbugger didn't even travel with team to BG. Lets just say I've been told he didn't remember his first down run in the Navy game. Should be fine for next week. Of course with all the name variations given him on this site he could relapse.

I wonder if he is getting confused re: his actual identity. I' m sure T4C8 is.

Rosensmall missed the game because he needed counseling to enable him to come to grips with his littleness.
