Vegas in September? Hope you got a good source. BEST time of the year.(With beginning of October) Colls down a little, less crowded. March Madness used to be great until everyone and anyyone goes out there and the jack up table games and the place is almost unbearable with crowds and obnoxious blowhards.

Hopefully will be my 1st trop in 7 yrs!!! 03-cloud9

How about East Carolina or North Carolina State ?

How about a home and home vs Mizzou.

Columbia is pretty decent. Fairweathered fans (to an extent) but many BCS are. Win= sellout. Just ok, about 80-90%.

Smaller town, some down to earth bars. Taigating was pretty good scene, if you can get close tot he stadium.

4 Road games against Nebraska without one return trip or Soldier Field game? How the hell does that happen?

Here's how it happens: Jeff Compher and Christian Spears.

Just better be major $$$ for our program. No less than 900K per game.

The Kibbie Dome had scheduling conflicts.

I cringe looking at that Nebraska series.

It was someone's genius idea to give Nebraska 4 home games for nothing in return. I bet when the Nebraska athletic department saw the signed contract they thought it was a joke that anyone would sign such a deal.

If GCD is right (which he normally is), 1.3 million per game isn't nothing to be fair. I'm not a huge fan, but that is a big payday. and it's a hell of a lot better game than Idaho.

Based on the note above there may be some validity to the deal, namely 1.3 milllion reasons per game we signed it. That is huge guarenteed money that would help our program. It would be tough to walk away from that unless we got something comparable.

That's better than the final payout in most bowl games we've played in. Of course that excludes the Orange bowl.

I hope this is true, regarding Nebraska games. I don't mind playing Nebraska once for $1.3 million but to commit yourself to 4 games for none in return is just bad scheduling and management.

Reasons why the NEB deal was done:
1). Lock in a big10 team long term
2). Big10 dropping to 3 oc games. Games with big10 teams will be harder to obtain.
3.) 1.3 mil per game
4). It's NEB!

This. I'm fine with 2 for nothing with the big pay day, but 4 games. No thanks. I'm sure Frazier already has taken care of these things. For the Wisconsin game, is it rumored to be in Camp Randall or at SF?

Why? If they're not playing Nebraska they'll be playing some other Big Ten team. What's the difference?

Not necessarily. Big 10 teams are going to be harder to schedule with nine league game rule, and the MAC/Big 10 agreement is expired.

1) What is the MAC/Pig10 agreement?

2) I think 75% of the worry with the 9 game league sched. falls on FCS, most of the remainder should fall on the worst FBS teams....
