It's much better than Idaho!

Did anyone see the New stadium they are talking about?

Almost anything is better than Idaho.

Yes, I do recall seeing some pretty awesome sketches of a new stadium for UNLV. I have nothing against UNLV other than the quality of football they are playing right now.

If they are going to come to DeKalb I'm all for it.

Especially if they're going to cancel going to Wake for it.

Looking at UNLV's OOC schedule, it certainly fits. And while I'm dreaming about a trip to Vegas, I'll also add that a Friday night game out there also wouldn't surprise me with the MWC having pretty regular Friday night games on ESPN/national TV these days.

I'm not sure it does fit. If Sean is getting out of the Wake game, I would assume he wants to get us a 6th home game. If we do a home and home with UNLV in 14 & 15 and they come to Huskie Stadium next year, that gives them 3 OOC road games in 14 and 3 OOC home games in 15. Not very balanced. I don't think we'd want to push the return trip to Vegas until 16, we're already travel to Wyoming. We need at least one "cash" road trip that year.

How about East Carolina or North Carolina State ?

I'd say better chance of that happening than Texas schools being scheduled (but maybe a chance with SMU or UNT)

RE: New Future Opponents?
Here is some wild speculation/dreaming about 2014-2015 home and homes based on who has what scheduled:

Syracuse - 1 home & 1 neutral site OOC games scheduled in 14, including our 9/13 Wake date is open on their schedule - no OOC for 2015 scheduled
Houston - 1 home & 1 road OOC games scheduled in 14, 9/13 is open - 1 OOC for 2015 scheduled
East Carolina - 2 home & 1 road OOC games scheduled in 14, 9/13 is not open - 2 OOC for 2015 scheduled
Rice - 1 home & 2 road OOC games scheduled in 14, 9/13 is open - 3 OOC for 2015 scheduled
Colorado State - 2 home & 1 road OOC games scheduled in 14, 9/13 is open - 3-4 OOC for 2015 scheduled
San Diego State - 2 road OOC games scheduled in 14 & 15, 9/13 is open
UNLV - 2 road OOC games schedule in 14, 9/13 is open - 3 OOC for 2015 scheduled
Sun Belt teams - who cares? Although there are probably a couple possibilities there.

Remember we already have a home-and-home scheduled with Wyoming for 2014 and 2015.

No we don't. That series is in 2015 and 2016.

If they play anybody remotely close to Dallas and can get a 1-1 I'm cool with it. Anybody going to the Arkansas game next year?

Is the meathead that signed that Nebraska deal still on staff? Someone ask Frazier his take on that debacle? Nitz, are you listening?
