Link to 2012 Final SOS - Louisville 25, Ohio 89
Regardless of the source, they aren't even close. There is a difference between Syracuse being an average team on Louisville's schedule vs. Miami (OH) being an average team on OU's schedule. Of course SOS matters when comparing players! If not, then nonAQ guys with the best numbers vs. poor opponents would win the Heisman every year!
Bridgewater is in the top 5 for Heisman, deservingly or non deservingly... If he transferred to OU (taking out the fact that Tettleton knows the OU offense) the better athlete and player would start. That being Bridgewater!!!
History doesn't matter, we are talking about NOW. OU has been the best in the MAC per average since 2005. OU is a formidable team for Louisville and could win. I believe the spread is way high and that this will be within 2 TD's.
PREDICTION: Louisville 41, OU 31
Tier 1: OU, Kent State, BG, NIU, Ball State, Toledo, CMU
Tier 2: Buffalo, Miami, WMU
Tier 3: EMU, Akron, UMASS
Until this season gets going, that tier 1 is bunched. Maybe NIU is in a tier of their own, but besides that the MAC will be competitive! LOTS of returning talent!
