who would have imagined that someone that uses an offensive slur in their screen name to denigrate another MAC school and who needs constant attention by telling us the answers to EVERY. SINGLE. clue in the USAToday countdown would throw a childish, expletive filled, temper tantrum over comments made by someone that everyone knows to ignore in the first place?
soooo thin skinned. soooo immature. soooooo ignorant.

RE: Make your Ohio @ Louisville predictions...
I have a difficult time predicting a score, it is difficult to know if U of L is the team whcih beat Florida in the bowl game or the team which finished 5-2 in the Big East and one of 4 co champs (2 of which, Rutgers and UC, lost to MAC teams which were no better than Ohio when at full strength). If the true Louisville team is the Bowl game team, then OU will not be able to stop them and will get beaten by several TD's in a high scoring game. If the real Lousiville team is the one I saw play the rest of the year, then this will be a game decided late in the 4th quarter. I give OU about a 25% chance of victory, based on the possibility that Louisville is more like the team which played the first 12 games last season than the Bowl game dynamo. If that is the case, OU might pull out a close win.

RE: Make your Ohio @ Louisville predictions...
I'm not saying it's right or wrong but Louisville did smack around a Florida team that didn't want to be there after getting "snubbed" for the title game. Also, I believe Florida was starting to make a surge towards the end? As long as Ohio stays healthy I think they have a shot. I agree that it depends on what Cardinal team shows up. The Sugar Bowl team, or the team that barely held off 3-9 USF, 0-12 USM, and 3-9 FIU squads. Kent proved against Rutgers it's all about turnovers, Rutgers gave up 6? If Ohio is winning the turnover battle they will be in good shape, if they are leading the battle 6-0 or 5-2 the Bobcats should be in great shape. Plus Tettleton is notorious for taking care of the ball. When it comes down to it, my heart says 24-21 Bobcats, but my gut says 37-28 Cardinals....

Another key is which Ohio team shows up... The injured team that lost 4 of their last 5 to close the year last season or the rejuvenated Bobcat squad that rolled Louisiana-Monroe 45-14 in the Independence Bowl.

Kent a Tier one school? Based on what? One good year in the last 25?
You should follow MAC football, Zippy. It's really entertaining. Most years, you can even find Akron right there at the bottom of the standings.

Um,
What?
Career records-
Team W/L (2011-2012):
Bridgewater- 18-8
Tettelton.....- 19-8
Passing:
Bridgewater- 478/715, 66.9%, 5,847yds, 8.2avg, 41/20 TD/INT, 146.5 rat.
Tettelton.....- 493/780, 63.2%, 6,150yds, 7.9avg, 46/14 TD/INT, 145.1 rat.
Rushing:
Bridgewater- 163att, 86yds, 0.5avg, 5 TD
Tettelton.....- 286att, 902yds, 3.2avg, 14 TD
Rushing:
Dyer............- 424att, 2,335yds, 5.5avg, 15 TD
Blankenship- 409att, 2,077yds, 5.1avg, 19 TD
They're statistically similar but I give the Ohio duoe the edge because of experience.
Dumb. Dyer is world's better than Blankenship. He was the offensive MVP of the national champsionship with Cam Newton on his team and many thought he would have been a heisman front runner had Cam not been there. Blankenship better than Dyer. That's rich.
Now as far as the QBs go there could be an arguement made I guess. I think way too many people are way too high on Bridgewater. I have seen him when we played and other games too and he doesn't add up to the hype.

you say Dyer is better because of the team he played on and because "many thought" he would be heisman frontrunner. But he wasn't. I say Blankenship is better because of stats and facts.
Let me guess, you're one of the Herd fans that thinks there were 8K Herd fans in Peden in 2011 because of all of the green t shirts? dumb dumb.

I predict other "MAC" fans will slam Ohio's chances of winning, then make up excuses on how Louisville blew the game and gift wrapped a Bobcat win.

I honestly hope OU beats the s**t out of the Cardinals, it would really stick it to the MAC haters. In the case of a Bobcat win, it'll be fairly likely that Louisville did something to help OU out, but no team will beat UL this season unless they have at a somewhat good team this year.

OhioU by 3, so I'm not looking for wrapping paper lying around unless OhioU blows Louisville away.

Surprising how no other MAC team got an 8 page prediction thread on the conference main message board...
