If the Heat don't roll through this, they will be the newest addition of letdowns since the Braves failure through the 90's.

RE: 2013 NBA Playoffs
I'm rooting for the Bulls to beat the Nets so they can play the Heat. If the Heat have to play the Bulls and Pacers, I don't know if they can handle that sort of physicality in back to back series.

The Nuggets are my darkhorse in the West.

I hesitated to take a sweep for the Heat in the first round but that is the only series I can see them sweeping.

Bulls, Pacers, Knicks will challenge them.

I have not been this excited about the play-offs since the Jordan era (and I am a big NBA fan). There are just so many good teams and good match ups.

sweep was not where I was going...but this is a forgone conclusion IMHO....they are just soooooo much better than the others.

Again, so was the Braves pitching staff....or the Phils when my Cards won against the Rangers...ya never know once the ball is in play.....

I really enjoy the drama of athleticism....I was a Bird/Magic person....Jordan never did it for me....and he was great (still contend if Pippen didn't emerge, Jordan would be nothing more than a statistical hero). However, there just isn't a squad that can compete with the Heat.

Having said that, and as a USM fan, and hero of the dogs...would love to see the upset/cinderalla thing happen

Rooting for Indiana, NY, and Brookyln in the east. Clippers in West. Bucks sweep Heat. Nes and Knicks in East Finals.

RE: 2013 NBA Playoffs
Every team in the east, save the Heat, would get curb stomped in the west.

Hell, the 2nd place eastern division team would have the 6th best record in the western.

I know the Bulls and Pacers took it to the Heat in the season, but I don't think either of them can survive a 7-game series.

Oklahoma City should be there too, their biggest obstacle should be the Grizzlies (Go Grizz!) or Clippers in the 2nd round.

I think the Thunder are the best team...yes, I know the Heat's record and streak. I just think winning 60 with so many damn good teams in the west is worth something more than 66 in the east.

Well, all the home teams won....so far. It looked like OKC was going to blow out the Rockets but it has gotten close.

RE: 2013 NBA Playoffs
6 out of 8 games weren't close. Most of the first round series should be relatively one-sided. Not that it matters much, because the second round should be a lot of fun.

That's an interesting stance to take since the Knicks were .500 this year against the top 4 seeds in the West. (1-1 vs top seeded OKC, 2-0 vs 2 seed San Antonio, 1-1 vs 3 seed Denver, and 0-2 vs 4 seed LAC)

While OKC was .500 this year against the tip 4 seeds in the East (0-2 vs top seeded Miami, 1-1 vs 2 seed NYK, 2-0 vs 4 seed Indiana, 1-1 vs 4 seed Brooklyn)

It also shouldn't be overlooked that the Knicks went 2-0 against Miami this year winning both games by 20 points, including a 112-92 win in Miami without Carmelo Anthony or Amar'e Stoudamire.
