Hell, the 2nd place eastern division team would have the 6th best record in the western.
I know the Bulls and Pacers took it to the Heat in the season, but I don't think either of them can survive a 7-game series.
Oklahoma City should be there too, their biggest obstacle should be the Grizzlies (Go Grizz!) or Clippers in the 2nd round.
I think the Thunder are the best team...yes, I know the Heat's record and streak. I just think winning 60 with so many damn good teams in the west is worth something more than 66 in the east.
That's an interesting stance to take since the Knicks were .500 this year against the top 4 seeds in the West. (1-1 vs top seeded OKC, 2-0 vs 2 seed San Antonio, 1-1 vs 3 seed Denver, and 0-2 vs 4 seed LAC)
While OKC was .500 this year against the tip 4 seeds in the East (0-2 vs top seeded Miami, 1-1 vs 2 seed NYK, 2-0 vs 4 seed Indiana, 1-1 vs 4 seed Brooklyn)
It also shouldn't be overlooked that the Knicks went 2-0 against Miami this year winning both games by 20 points, including a 112-92 win in Miami without Carmelo Anthony or Amar'e Stoudamire.
Actually, the Knicks went 3-1 against the Heat this season. Two wins early in the season, then the Heat beat the Knicks, and in the last game the Knicks beat the Heat by 12 in a game Lebron James and D-Wade did not play. Now, it's playoffs.

Yes, that is correct. I didn't word what I was trying to say very well. My point wasn't to start Knicks/Heat smack either, just pointing out that there is more than one competent team in the East. I was actually defending the East and the Heat.

I hesitated to take a sweep for the Heat in the first round but that is the only series I can see them sweeping.
Bulls, Pacers, Knicks will challenge them.
Same here. Through the bad and good times. Let's Go Heat!
I was a season ticket holder the first three years at the old arena and was at the first draft party (I'm pretty sure it was at the Intercontinental downtown) when we selected Rony Siekely.

Those same Knicks are also capable of imploding at any point in time. They are capable of running someone off the court or getting run off the court. I don't think the Knicks would hold up in a 7-game series against any of the top 5 western teams, except maybe San Antonio.

Simple answer: Keem
There are even more minutes in an NBA game so when you extrapolate his points per minute and assume he plays 40 minutes he should average 45 points. Give or take of course.
Only joking SJ, can't wait to see what Richmond can do next year in a bigger role.

I've not said ECU would win CUSA once, only that we would be top 4 and in the mix. I actually picked UTEP and La Tech as the early favorites. Perhaps you should work on your reading skills.

They are certainly the favorites, but I don't think you can count out the Spurs core and coach with 3 championships and the way Duncan has played this year. He's really had a resurgent year and Poppovich has limited his and Ginobli's minutes most of the year so with the bench and that experience I think they could give them a run.
