He did. Check out wmu's website and roster from 2009-10. I had high hopes for him since we needed a PG that could relieve Kool of those duties.
ChipDip has a legendary story about an encounter with his dad at Breakfast with the Broncos, which is a preseason meet and greet for our team.
Apparently his dad told ChipDip that Austin was the best PG on our roster. And our roster included Mikey Douglas, who now holds our all time assist record...David Kool who handled PG duties when necessary...and Demetrius Ward who ran the point with Douglas in 2010-11 and was all MAC West.
Point being, it's somewhat naive, cocky and ego driven when you claim your son is the best PG when he hasn't even played a minute of college ball.
His class included Brown, Whittington, Hutcheson and Pokely...all who are playing key roles for us this year.
Please don't take this as I'm passing judgement on him or his family. Just passing along a story told by ChipDip. Although, my reaction wound be accurate if proven to be true.
