Well, the winter solstice is at 6:36 E.T.

And anyways, today/tomorrow is merely a transition. It's the end of the Age of Piscies and beginning of the Age of Aquarius. It's completely astrological and 12/21/12 marks the end of the 13th baktun.

The profane (i.e. at least 90% of all people) aren't aware of any of this and just assume the calandar ending was the end of the world or just a coincidence, which isn't the case given that others such as the Hopis and the Aztecs also note the significance.

I can poke fun at this stuff and even bumped my post from a year and a half ago but that doesn't mean there's not more to the significance of today than the average person may realize.

It's not the end of the world and the calandar didn't just instantly stop for no apparent reason. Today was chosen for a reason and it's all related to astrology.
