Need to see us play THROUGH some adversity first.

I hope so. The ranked team and tourney win thing is still hanging over our head. If we beat Louisville I will start to come around.

I mean, it was a good performance but let's not go overboard because we beat a MAC team at home. Let's act like we've been there.

Should we go back to the Bahamas and play VCU again to make sure?

The corner turns when Johnson comes in and is joined by four other players who can run. There was one play where he just killed a defender with a move. Just a bad a$$.

Its not that. The team played with some moxie. I haven't seen that since JP started coaching. Geron Johnson is one intense dude. Did you see him running the point giving directions to everyone. He might have the rest of the players afraid of him. haha

I know its just one game. Something was different tonight. It was like F this bull****, we're going to do it. If Coach Kid can keep it going, we're going to be a force. The talent level of this team is off the charts. AT and Black were almost non factors. Wait til they get it going.

It's not that we beat a decent team but how we did. Geron and Shaq r the stars and have a good supporting cast Those 2 guys have got better every game. It's starting to click for Geron. You could add Joe in there as well. Adonis had a bad shooting night but he can explode one game too. Lists of weapons to go with G & S.

Adonis and Tarik may find themselves in the background if they don't "find themselves."

That's a good things for the Tigers and our team. And, these new guys may be just what is needed for these veterans to get motivated.

Adversity? How many minutes did Tarik get tonight? Nice message sent by Coach Pastner...

There's like no one guy on this team. It takes the pressure off of everyone. It was free and easy. Memphis style! Everyone pretty much got in the act. Like crazy bastards coming from every direction. Who do you guard? What do you guard? It was beautiful to watch. One moment it was this guy the next moment it was that guy. How do you prepare for that?

For three years we've been watching stagnation. Everyone trying to fill a proposed role that nobody seems to fit in. Square pegs in round holes. I didn't see that tonight. We had four different guys running the point. It was beautiful.

The TEAM is much better in their attitudes, approach, energy level and team effort for the most part on the court tonight than in previous games, you can tell that something is different (turning point?) about them regardless of who the opposing team is. We understand that Ohio is not a worldbeater or a team like Louisville but if the Tiger's approach tonight is just the beginning then many tiger fans can at least be comforted that no matter the game, the TEAM is going to give their best effort which the team didn't do in the Bahamas

Hmmm

They were 5 minutes away from elite 8 last year. They have every starter back

We saw this early last year during the Belmont game...

The biggest difference I saw tonight was that we competed harder on defense and on the glass than we did against Belmont. Last year against Belmont we just shot lights out.

Lots of horsepower but I thought they were still misfiring on a couple of cylinders, we can play much better.

In game adversity resulted in a very positive result. With little or no Tarik.
