see the silly thing is... Our very first basketball jerseys had Birmingham on them not UAB. This isn't even smack talk. This is such a non story I don't know why you guys think it is something. This is merely a throwback to us being Birmingham's team. We don't need the A to be succesful. In fact we'd be better off without it.

the blue is going to be there for 3 games all weekend. it was never supposed to be any teams colors.

Overall Troy leads UAB 5-4... Also we have beaten CUSA top teams before. Even last year. As we have beaten top 25 too so what's your point?? Come back when you guys make a couple bowls.

You've beaten Southern Miss three times in a row. Does that make you the better program over those three years? Not even close. And in a case like ours, in rivalry games, the overall W/L total is never a good indicator of the better program. You just been the better program in the series. We play down to you guys, and you play up to us - it evens out and you get a few wins here and there.

I have yet to see TROY play to its ability to UAB. Only time I have seen it was First half 2 years ago.

No, I will argue that the next couple of years are going to be rough on you guys (though delusion runs rampant amongst the fan base) and that we will have pretty successful seasons in the next few years. I wouldn't trade you our future for your past and neither would most objective people. Good luck against Wagner.

You can argue about the future all you want, but when all I se on the FIU campus is UM shirts today, I'd say that you need to do some argueing with your own, today.

we were playing beneath our own skill level. Don't kid yourself. The better team won that game. We started a QB that was an athlete thinking Joe Webb would reemerge in a new uniform. When we actually started playing with our best players we came back and won it.
