If that's the arguement you want to make Blazer, then please start calling LSU by it's real name as well, Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, Notre Dame: University of Notre Dame du Lac, and Virginia Tech: Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Their BOT ordered it for them. Apparently all Tuscaloosa knew when ordering the paint was that it wasn't crimson.

Birmingham's city council held a conference this summer, Topic: Changing the name of the University and mascot. Reason: Athletics are an embarrassment so they thought it would be a good idea to rebrand the school name and mascot starting the 2013 school year. Looks like they got an early start though. LOL.

You may win over Troy, but I'm not seeing it yet. You both came off of bad seasons. In the first game of the season, its hard to tell if either of you guys have turned it around.

I think that you will beat Tulane, as they appear to be melting down before the season even starts with injuries. And you do play Memphis at home. And SE Louisiana at home.

My guess is that you win at least 3 games. You're actually hurt by your conference schedule, which includes USM (who will beat you this year), UH, Tulsa, ECU, and UCF. You won't likely be winning any of those. You won't be beating USC or Ohio State (2 body bag games).

Two body bag games? Who scheduled your OOC? And you don't get Rice or UTEP in your conference sched, which would have helped you as you could beat either of them.

So you've got 3 wins in my book. You could beat Marshall and Troy, which you get at home. So 5-7 at best, but more likely 4-8 or 3-9.

And 8-1* against the new "top tier" CUSA program as well.
