H2Oville... Not to speak for Bobcat, but I didn't interpret his post to
literally mean that it's a welfare system or the only ones out to shake down celebrities for money/exposure are welfare recipients. Sounds more like he was using hyperbole.
Quote:Tiger didn't give any of those women any money.
Yes, but the overall point is still valid, though. Were these mistresses really "in love" with Tiger, or want potential access to 15 minutes of fame (sort of like the women on the Bachelor)? Cover of Us Magazine, talk show circuit, a contestent on some reality show, a book deal, etc, are juicy incentives.
As far as Big Ben... I understand that he could be guilty. Wouldn't 'shock' me if he was, especially since this is now TWO times for Ben... pretty damning. And even if he didn't, he's got to change up his lifestyle anyhow. He can go out, have a couple drinks, and get any consensual one-night-stands he wants. But he needs to tone down getting drunk and partying like an unhinged frat boy. The motorcycle incident mentioned in the ESPN article also indicates he's got further maturing to do.
That said, it's easy to want to tear down a celebrity because they are living the every-man's-dream fantasy life. But I've read enough cases to make me wait to see what all shakes out...
