I didn't go through any of those phases. I went from surprise to acceptance but never anger, there's no need for that, because I'm only one vote and I did my part. I was surprised that Li'l satan won so big in what people were calling Texas a red state. The Dems will advance some nuttiness, though. They always do. Reps should learn about that when they have power. They seldom seem to. See: SAVE Act and Immigration policies. No thanks Cornyn. Without you and Thune's obstruction, there would have been no Paxton running for Senate in the general.

The more moderate candidates in Red states will try and fixed the damage done by Trump and the Republicans did. Even a lot of you scratching your heads on why cutting important stuff to research at universities that includes medical and all that. FDR set up the safety net programs as they were an investment for the people of this country. Even Republican voters are saying that went way too far as 100% was cut to the states. Most red states need the fed money to fund the Medicaid programs or they become ration care and people with cancer would get denied for treatment.
