Like the democrats have ever made anything ever affordable.

They haven’t, but you only get one shot to right the ship, and the GOP ultimately didn’t even try.

That's not necessarily true. We didn't try hard enough. Too many RINOs in the Senate hurt us. Too many bad candidates this time seemed to hurt us, too.

I don’t have an issue with folks getting free stuff as long as they are citizens. We take care of our own. Should, at least.

My mom is struggling and can’t get any welfare benefits because she makes too much. Now Trump is trying to take away the loans that’s paying for my Sisters education. Which will make it even worse financially on mom.

All the Hispanics around us are living great, eating great.
I'll never understand this: providing welfare benefits to immigrants, even undocumented ones, while neglecting your own citizens, whose taxes fund government spending. It happens in America and in the larger EU countries too. I'm sorry about what your mom and sister are going through, it sounds unfair.

Last balanced budget was a mixed government. Get off social media. Read Fox News and CNN in the morning, then get away from the news cycle. Don't root for political party like an NFL team, you don't win when they do, in either case

RCP has 8 Democratic pickups in the House so far. Its 138-86. IN, KY, NC, NE, NJ, VA and PA (2) have flipped.

In senate has the Dems picking up North Carolina AND South Carolina! Another weak Trump picked candidate in South Carolina. People don't want dynasties.

South Carolina is a bad sign for Republicans in the close states.

My congressman is looking to lose. No one was even talking about that race.

I might be represented by a Democrat in the Houst for the first time in several years. Leticia Gutierrez is ahead of Alex Mealer. What in the world is going on?

2 years of do nothing GOP Congress, an unpopular Iran war, and massive unaffordability coming home to roost

Inflation, a war he didn't run on and chose to get into, high gas prices, culture wars w/ failing infrastructure and a lagging economy, hate rhetoric, failure to release the full Epstein files, selling off national park land, wrecking our reputation globally, renaming of bodies of water as a priority over actual impactful legislation, a failure to reach across the aisle, slandering minorities/women, supporting nepo candidates/philanderers/fellow felons...

and you're surprised? (ALL WHILE YOU CONTROL BOTH HOUSE/SENATE AND A FRIENDLY SUPREME COURT!)

You know, sometimes the worse things get, the better. You're fighting against trans women competing in women's sports, yet no one seems to support their right to compete more than women themselves. So, yeah, there's no reason to stress too much about it in the end.

God will be judging Virginia harshly for approving the murder of babies up to birth. Absolutely disgusting. Abortion or the murder of innocent babies is demonic. Completely anti-God and His creation.

Agreed!

Remarkable it took this long but agreed. An amazing night for both parties in that degree. Also first openly gay senator (LG doesn't count lol)
