But it doesn’t change the fact she’s lied about certain things when asked about them, including being drunk. And the fact there are women making false accusations of rape and abuse against men all the time, which ruins not only men’s lives, but also makes it much harder for actual women who have been victims of rape and abuse to be believed when they tell the police. Same with the Cornell case. That was consensual by all parties. She only said she was raped because she felt ashamed. She even has text messages to one of her friends telling her it was consensual.

And do NOT get me started on Lindsay Clancy.

My area is deeply Republican and has been for 160 years despite being contained in a state that seceded from the Union.

The mid term early voting is on pace for a record turnout. I do not know if it means Dems are disproportionately voting or Republicans are motivated, but either way it indicates strong interest.

I already voted and my wife will follow today or tomorrow. She plans to bring our three year old grandson to celebrate the precious, hard fought right to vote.

I think l the midterms are a wash for the right.

Might as well start prepping for 2028 at this point.

That is if we on the right can actually win, which I doubt.

Republicans seem to have written off Collins for the Senate in Georgia. Osoff SHOULD be easy to beat. Derek Dooley would have been formidable. But the Trump backed clunker got the nomination. He doesn't come across well. There are still some anti-Osoff ads, but I don't see any pro Collins ads. Osoff is on TV all the time. He has a lot of NY and CA money behind him.

Real Clear Politics has NC and GA as likely Dem now. NC has a popular former governor running for the Democrats. It shows 45 safe or likely Dem, NH lean Dem, 43 safe or likely R, Florida leans R and 10 seats as tossups, 8 current Republican and 2 current Democrat. Its kind of odd that they show Michigan and Minnesota as tossups while not showing Iowa, Ohio, Nebraska and Kansas as leaning Republican.

As deserving as it was for Gov. Spanberger (the definitive leftist puppet) to hear it, the sad reality is that booing is the only political skill that Virginia Republicans have mastered.

And as much as I get down on Mr. X. and his northern Virginia cohort, the reality is that they are voting for their own best interests. That southeastern, central and western Virginian are incapable of doing the same - - other than booing at nonpolitical public events - - is why we are in the fix that we are.
