One day perhaps American AWFUL’s will see the light before being clubbed by reality like their French counterparts.

So to say the U.S. is not a democracy seems a bit misleading. It is simply not a direct or pure democracy.

At least this is how I understand it. I could be wrong.

Don’t be delusional. You cannot have it both ways.

Democracy by its very definition is popular rule.

Please do not conflate this with a mixture of other ideologies.

The clueless American populace believe these lunatics on the left that we are a Democracy.

Wake up Bill it’s not too late.

Are you contending the U.S. shows no characteristics of a democracy, B-Dragon?

I'm puzzled. I don't know this stuff well but it seems fairly clear from what many sources note:

I see this with simple internet searches:

In a representative democracy (aka a democratic republic), citizens elect officials who make laws and govern on their behalf. This model includes:

• Parliamentary Systems: Executive power is concentrated within the legislature, leading to coalition-building.

• Presidential Systems: The executive and legislative branches are kept separate with distinct checks and balances.

• Federal Systems: Power is divided among national, regional, and local governments.

Hell fascism has aspects of democracy. FFS what is your point.

It just seems the simple definition of democracy is sometimes turned into a "political left vs. right" debate on this board.

Does everything have to be politicized, SK? If I, a partial libtard, say that the U.S. shows characteristics of both a democracy, in general, and a constitutional republic ... does that agitate the "full righties" on this board? Is it that big a deal?

I do agree with you on that. And that's troubling, no doubt.

But that alone does not negate the fact that the U.S. offers elements of a democracy.

Quote: WTF?! A Frenchman sees his city getting ransacked by rioters so he confronts them — and the invaders call him "RACIST" to his face to shut him down

ONE WORD being weaponized is causing France to fall into ruin.

See the game? They call you racist to destroy you.

Macron is addressing the nation tonight. The damage is already done, HE'S TOO LATE!

Time for Marine Le Pen ??

Let them cry racist all they want

Macron Blames French Citizens for Islamo-Marxist Riots in Weak Address to Nation (VIDEO)

Quote:French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday finally responded to the Islamo-Marxist riots.

Islamo-Marxist migrants continued to clash with police over the weekend as Macron partied.

‘Student’ protests erupted in Paris’s migrant-filled suburbs earlier this month over so-called crowded classrooms and teacher shortages.

The protests expanded to other cities and became violent as Muslim migrants used it as an excuse to take over the streets and assault law enforcement.

On Saturday evening, Macron was spotted at a Celine Dion concert as Paris burned.

Thousands of violent protesters on Saturday overturned cars, set buildings ablaze, and attacked police across the country. One of the most historic structures in the entire country, the 143-year-old Limoges Town Hall, burned to the ground as the police struggled control the crowds.

More than 1,800 rioters were arrested on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Macron and his wife were enjoying a Celine Dion Concert.

On Sunday, Macron addressed the nation and blamed French citizens for the uprising.

“Hundreds of police officers were injured,” Macron said in his opening statement to the nation.

“When we saw the images, we all thought, what was in their heads? How can French people do this to France?” Macron said in a week address. “Why would the Town Hall of Limoges burn down?”

Import the third world, become the third world.

Quote:BREAKING: A weak President Macron just announced authorities will BAN certain public gatherings in some places in response to the riots, but calls on everyone to not loop in "protestors" with the violent ones

Macron even blamed TRUMP for some of their grievances.

"How can French people do this to France?" ?

LATE. FECKLESS. The Celine Dion concert was more important for him!

Many of them are NOT French, they are INVADERS

Here's what he confirmed:
- Crisis unit led by the Prime Minister starting tomorrow to speed up aid
- Review of intelligence and policing failures
- Firm prosecutions, with looters forced to pay back the damage
- Prefects and mayors can ban certain gatherings
- Parties and unions told to condemn the violence, and the Prime Minister to meet with the parties
- Talks with students and young people starting this week

There is no true form of Democracy it’s a misnomer and Politicians use it as a tool knowing dam well there is NO DEMOCRACY. Never could be. It would fail spectacularly.

These Idiots run around and scream abolish the Electoral College which would in effect abolish the voice of every small state. There would be no need to campaign in the small original colonies now states ever. Just focus on the big states and the rest have no say. That would be democracy. Sounds fun. The very democracy they say they are defending. Notsomuch!

Democracy is as misused as the TERMS Progressive and Liberal are. There isn’t much Progressive in attempting to destroy or eradicate for your political choice and the very term liberal is more in line with Patriotism which today’s liberal wants none of.

Constitutional Republic. Elect a representative for your area to abide by a set of rules in determining laws, procedures and regulations set forth in a body of work ie Constitution.

The Constitution is a binding agreement for its Citizens it does not apply to Illegals. Any compensation for Illegals is a breach and misuse of the treasury. But like most other things in DC liberty is freely taken and never questioned.

You could say there are elements of Democracy but that is also the case of Countries who do not espouse to be a Democracy.

True Democracy like true Communism or true Socialism would fail spectacularly. These are ideologies that simply can not and will never survive in real life.

Republics, Dictators. Oligarchs is real world.

What'll stop that from happening here. When our cities burn, majority of the country cheers. Oh well.

My opinion only.

I don’t think this will happen here. Too many people that would push back harder than they have ever seen.

However, I do think this country better wake the hell up from this liberal minded craziness.
Liberals can never be in charge. If they ever do get power back, THE ATTEMPT to change this country will gain momentum. It’ll be thwarted but it’ll be really ugly.

Images from the 'peaceful protests' by the 'freedom fighters' in France who just want to 'give peace(and explosives and murder) a chance'. C'mon guys, what's so wrong with that? Or is France being Racissssssss against the 'discussions' these folks are engaging in in the streets?Yeah, this is normal, nothing to see here.

Let's see if the fools in France led by idiot Macron and his Leftist cronies can receive as well as they give during these 'peaceful protests'...

Quote:We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan. — Israel War Room (@IsraelWarRoom) October 18, 2026

Quote:@IsraelWarRoom A two state solution in France is the only solution, I think we can get a commission from the Taliban to help broker the “peace deal” — Sarah Adams (@sarahadams) October 18, 2026

Hostile actors take advantage of expressions of dissent. The aim is to weaponize freedom of speech against the societies that guarantee it.

Degradation this swift likely has a source. Let’s investigate.

Wishing peace and protection to all who uphold our shared humanitarian values.
